DEATHSPELL OMEGA and S.V.E.S.T. offer two glances right into the primeval fracture, the suppurating wound at the heart of everything, the fissure undermining up to the least attempt at harmony. Summa Divisio, the first of all divisions, the mother of all scissions and the annunciation of woe and affliction to come.

The work of both bands can be understood as a variation on a same theme, independent yet complementary.

Released as a noble gatefold LP featuring both bands and as two digipak mini-cds, each featuring one band, with identical artwork and layout.

KATHAARIA The Complex Void of Negativity

The debut album of german Kathaaria is an achievement. In days during which debut albums are released like mere demos, Kathaaria have pushed their artistic vision to the extreme, reaching a kind of perfectionism that many elder bands would dream about. Undoubtedly dwelling within the shadows of Black Metal, Kathaaria go far beyond with intricate compositions that may sometimes remind of weirdos Ved Buens Ende on a brutal trip. The guitarplaying, all in subtle chords and disturbing harmonies is incredibly talented. The musical visions summoned herein are bleak yet hypnotising, leaving no other issue than to return, again and again, confronting oneself with the many layers of a very profound record.

CD comes as a noble digipak : out on the 29th of September. LP expected in mid- to late October.

SLIDHR / REBIRTH OF NEFAST Ex Nihilio

Split-CDs are often hazardous, resulting in an unbalanced artistic impact. Ex-Nihilio, the common work of Rebirth of Nefast and Slidhr, to the contrary, showcases two entities that complement each other to a rare extent. Most likely because both exhale the same pitch-black atmosphere and tend towards the same bleak aim. Rebith of Nefast works with atmospheres, expressing the unlikely and grotesque, with an undeniable sinister spiritual edge. Slidhr is hatred and violence, not unlike an entity such as Funeral Mist, but also a great sense for the riff. Yet you could reverse these descriptions and still match the point. It is genuinely challenging material, and a great testimony to the unique brilliance of Black Metal.

It is an incredible honour for us to announce that we will work with ABIGOR on their upcoming albums. “Fractal Possession”, to be released sometimes during late April or May, has been in the works during 2006, and the return of TT to the band has had direct and massive consequences : they deliver one of the strongest, most relevant and visionary records in years. The old style and identity of the band has not vanished, but the current incarnation of ABIGOR is bound to set standards for the future. “Fractal Possession” is probably the most technical record of the band, blessed by a production of chirurgical precision (courtesy of TT himself) and their new vocalist, AR, delivers a performance of feverish intensity.

We will soon post a sample of the new record, and the first interview based upon “Fractal Possession” will be published on the website of the old Norwegian ‘zine Imhotep during the first days of March.

Mid-March we will release a special limited T-Shirt as an announcement for the storm that is to come…
